Move over donuts, get out of the way average cup o’joe, there’s a new kid on the street.

The Street Sweets Truck

Highlighting the menu are European-inspired create-your-own croissants—filled with a choice of luscious pastry creams such as mocha, praline, vanilla and chocolate, all natural preserves, honey, and nut butters. Other delectables include muffins, scones, quiches, savory croissants, cookies, brownies and more baked before your eyes. Since any pastry worth its calories must be accompanied by an outstanding cup of coffee, this eye-catching, magnificently equipped café on wheels definitely has it, along with espressos and cappuccinos.

To help keep things green, Sweetery uses all natural ingredients, organic milk, raw sugar, and fair-trade coffee beans from a sustainable rain forest that are precision-roasted locally. The truck itself uses bio-diesel fuel to reduce emissions.

About our Truck

The Sweetery truck, codename CHOPPER (after Grant’s beloved Labrador Retriever), is a mobile bakery with a professional and beautiful kitchen designed by owners Grant Di Mille and Samira Mahboubian. Large windows allow you to see right into the kitchen where goodies are baked fresh daily with the truck’s own self sufficient power source. The fun, attention-grabbing 360° exterior graphics can be spotted from even the highest building, and most importantly, Extremely CLEAN and well maintained throughout.

GRANT Di MILLE:

Prior to dedicating tweenty-four years to his career in advertising as a highly successful new business developer/Director of New Business Development, Grant reminisces about his childhood and summers spent in Italy, where he recalls the scent of warm croissants (called Cornettis) stuffed with the most incredible fillings, permeating the air, my vision was to build a mobile bakery, exceptional on every level, providing an alternative to the same old, pre-packaged offerings found virtually on every corner. Sweetery’ goal is to fill New York streets with the delicious aroma of freshly-baked sweets.

SAMIRA MAHBOUBIAN:

A former Director of Marketing, having spent 20 years at her profession (twelve of which at Polo Ralph Lauren) Samira recollects growing up in her mother’s kitchen, and uses family recipes for many of their scrumptious sweets. I’m excited to offer the sensational flavors that I grew up on to satisfy people’s cravings whether it’s at the start of their day, a bite at lunch, or just for a quick pick me up at anytime.
